Anugerah Music MBC Plus X Genie atau akan dikenali sebagai MGA selepas ini adalah satu anugerah muzik yang julung-julung kalinya diadakan bagi menghargai dan meraikan artis-artis K-Pop serta warga kerja industri hiburan.
Majlis yang akan diadakan secara tahunan ini dianjurkan oleh MBC Plus dan Genie Music. Untuk pertama kali ini, ia diadakan di Namdong Gymnasium, Incheon pada 6 November. BTS telah memenangi penghargaan paling banyak dengan membawa pulang lima trofi termasuk dua hadiah utama (daesang) – Artis Terbaik dan Album Digital Terbaik (Best Artist of the Year and Best Digital Album of the Year) – serta Persembahan Tarian Lelaki Terbaik, Anugerah Populariti Muzik Genie, dan Kumpulan Lelaki Terbaik (Best Male Dance Performance, Genie Music Popularity Award, and Best Male Group).
Pengasas BigHit Entertainment; Bang Shi Hyuk juga memenangi Produser Terbaik manakala Son Sung Deuk dianugerahkan Best Choreography untuk “IDOL” BTS.
Kumpulan TWICE berjaya membawa pulang tiga anugerah, termasuk hadiah utama Artis Terbaik, Artis Berkumpulan Wanita Terbaik (Best Female Group), dan Persembahan Global Terbaik (Best Global Performance). Wanna One juga menerima tiga anugerah, termasuk hadiah utama Lagu Terbaik (Song of the Year) dan Persembahan Vokal Lelaki Terbaik untuk lagu “Beautiful” serta Anugerah MBC Plus Star.
