2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards baru sahaja melabuhkan tirainya. Anugerah berprestij ini turut disiarman secara langsung menerusi tvN Asia Ch 395. Tahun ini juga, anugerah MAMA turut dihadiri oleh nama-nama besar dalam industri K-Pop.
MAMA 2019 yang diadakah pada 4 Disember bertempat di Nagoya Dome, Japan, telah mendapat khidmat pelakon Park Bo Gum sebagai pengacara majlis.
Ini merupakan kali keempat berturut-turut BTS mempertahankan anugerah Daesang bagi Artist of The Year di MAMA. BTS mula memenangi anugerah itu sejak tahun 2016. Wah, besar juga impak BTS dalam industri K-Pop dan juga diserata dunia. Selain Daesang, BTS turut membawa pulang tiga lagi anugerah termasuk Album of the Year for “Map of the Soul: Persona,” Worldwide Icon of the Year dan Song of the Year for “Boy With Luv. “
